FAQ

• Best season to visit the Champagne country

If you see the famous film “The Four Seasons of Yquem” (Yquem is a wine estate, near Bordeaux which produces the best sweet wine in the world), you understand that there is no specific season to visit the Champagne vineyard. The four seasons are different, that’s why, our tour in Champagne is open all seasons, from January 1st to December 30th.

Champagne is roughly 90 miles northeast of Paris, so about an hour and a half from Paris by auto or 45 minutes by high speed train. This proximity to Paris makes a day tour in Champagne, easy and appealing for any wine and history lover.

What makes champagne wine the best in its kind ? Why was the Clovis’ baptism in Reims a crucial event in the western European history ? We’ll answer all of these questions and more in our tour “A Day in Champagne”.
